@eb2505 How long are you prepared for? I wouldn't correlate the collapse of a few badly managed overseas banks with what may happen here but who knows? GFC was hardly a thing here but a big deal for many in the US at the time. Which "experts" are you relying on this time?

@eb2505 Evergrande has been going on for a long time now and I haven't heard much of anything about it lately. Even the bedwetting financial drama queens have been quiet on the subject. No worries as the vegies and fruit trees are doing great and the freezer is stocked with some very nice stuff for my impending trip. Good thing about the US is that they serve as a warning for the rest of us. Life is good.

@eb2505 We'll see I guess and I've been the one warning about it for quite a while on here now. Those unprepared or close to the edge financially will get crunched whilst those more secure in life likely won't. That's the way these things usually play out. Whether it's a blip for a couple of years or a 1929 style event will become obvious over time.
