  1. We have a testing station near us, we are a smallish town, and the lines yesterday ran for kilometres. People in line all day from the reports on local groups we saw.

  4. Yep the guys running the studies of how it will go have said that it won't be over before the end of August. Who knows how long it will go for in reality.

  5.  Robbie Hanna  Already have. We are in the middle of an infectious health issue and not everything in life can be blamed on Govt. or whoever else that people want to blame.

Plenty of times in history where we have had worldwide health issues and plenty of examples of how our lifestyles/habits and our love of travelling everywhere just makes something like this inevitable. Mankind loves to think they have it all under control but the reality is that we are just another critter on this rock, albeit the most destructive one, and we will eventually realize we have limits on what we can do.

  7.  Robbie Hanna  Yeah I agree which is why I always preach to try and minimize the effects on an individual level and not sweat the macro stuff as we likely won't ever know the truth and if we do there isn't a whole lot that the average person can do about it. In real terms we have had an incredibly good run for a long long time and most these days really haven't seen hard times at all. Look at what someone born in 1890 odd would have faced before they were 60 yo. 2 world wars, 1918 flu epidemic and the Great Depression are the big ticket items. No one knows what the future holds so trying to raise your kids to be resourceful and resilient and not mollycoddled couch potatoes is probably the best that a parent can do imo.
