So posting any sort of tripe is free speech and should be allowed? Sounds like the reason laws are enacted is in response to the minority of deadsh*&s who just don't seem to get it. The reason they are "big tech" is because a lot of people use it..............duh. The Internet also gives any fool with a connection a voice, doesn't make them right or accurate. If you are concerned about it all then just turn it off, simples. You certainly wouldn't want to be a viewer of this channel if you wanted an accurate guess as to what was going to be the outcome in any particular election.

@HelloWorld-ns7gt Problem is that a lot of people have a nasty agenda and can influence the more weak minded amongst us to maybe do things that they shouldn't. Do we really need some of the crap that is available, I mean really? I can make a decision on how I choose to see things or make a choice whether it be video games, movies or whatever else, some can't. If the people who present the platform can't moderate what is said then who should? Your opinion or thoughts on any particular subject are yours so who else cares? Not so many years ago nutters would be standing on a street corner with a sandwich board proclaiming that the end of the world is nigh, now they can tell the whole world. Why do you think that your opinion is in any way important?

@HelloWorld-ns7gt Point being what? Who gets to say what is ok or not? Maybe the best thing would be to shut it all down and nobody gets to post their opinion. Way to many agendas and narratives to ever see what the truth is. Most just seem to think that their opinion is the most important thing in the world and they should be able to present it with no accountability. The big platforms are all "for profit" so if you don't like the way that they present various opinions then start your own platform. "He who pays the Piper calls the tune." True now and always has been.

@HelloWorld-ns7gt Yeah but if you shoot your mouth off in the pub you will likely end up on your rear end with a mouth full of broken teeth. Sort of a form of regulating "free speech" don't you think? So much free speech these days is nothing more than mindless drivel and opinions so who really cares? The comments section on this particular news platform was nothing more than a safe place for Trump cultists and pandemic deniers for the longest time. As usual the actual facts and realities will get drowned out by all the white noise. Meh who really cares.
