We'll see what happens at the next state and federal elections eh? Plenty of talk on here that's ended up being very wrong, in fact most of it from some posters.

@grantsapain Here's hoping it won't get up but I would hardly call the opinions of many on here as representative of the majority. If you're in the US what does it matter who's in charge here? Personally I think that if they do get rolled at the next election it will be more because of economic conditions hurting many rather than this crap but we shall see.

@grantsapain Libs have had plenty to be held to account for as well and, in reality, they're little different. We would have been facing most of the same things if they had got back in again and they've had plenty of time to make changes. It will sort itself out, it always does, and life will move on. I have to say that I'm very thankful that we don't have the same levels of political bs as you guys. Seems that certain elements love to talk it all up but in the real world here politics is hardly discussed, at least not that I see.

@grantsapain It's not what I "choose to believe" but what I've seen over many many years when I was working, socially and even just when casually talking to people. The topic of politics is usually the last thing people want to talk about and really couldn't care less for the most part. I'm not sure how you would even know considering you don't live here........ Some, like posters on here, are crusted on to it but they're in the minority. Certainly we don't seem to have the levels of sycophancy and hero worship that it appears many where you are do.

@grantsapain Dude I'm not crusted on to politics, religion or whatever else so maybe don't try putting words in my mouth eh? I didn't say that we were "free" of the problems that the US seems to be facing but we certainly aren't at nearly the same level imo. You're talking like all those folks moving there is a good thing? How quaint. Personally I think that people like you try and push your views on what's wrong in other places so that you can feel better about the crap you see happening around you. Clutch your bible, a copy of your constitution, bang out a few slogans, strap on a pew pew and I shall continue to be thankful that we don't live there.
