That's where the jobs are for the most part and it has been happening for generations. Nothing new here. If anything the current health crisis is causing people to re think their way of life and question the way that cities operate. We've been near city rural for decades and people have said we should move to the city. Yeah no thanks.

@jimkeane3935 Because everything has to be given some sort of political label. Plenty of arsonists around who are monitored every year by Police. Seems that there are a lot of whackjobs who get off on the power of fire, including some who fight and light them. Plenty started through other means or just plain stupidity like cigarette butts thrown out of windows for example. It certainly seems that they are getting more common and worse as weather patterns change. We have lived where we are for over 30 years and have noticed a marked increase in events here. Already had an alert, only 2 hot days and it wasn't even Summer yet.
