  1. Recently subscribed from the US. I will slowly go through your catalog of videos. I love when you talk about art and connect it to philosophy and broader issues in culture. I think of art as 'visual philosophy.' As for the direction of your channel, I think you described it well. From your point-of-view it may seem broad/unfocused but your choices seem quite coherent and unified to me. You are clearly thoughtful and super-smart. I say trust your creative impulse. You are experiencing the struggle all creative people have... getting people to pay attention to your creation. Making the stuff is difficult but finding an audience is EXTREMELY difficult. One of the unifying elements in your work is the excellent craft. Each video is a short documentary film, tightly written, paced and edited. I love the historical footage. You could have 2 types of videos... the documentaries and informal 'chat' videos. Your viewers love the rigorous content but don't underestimate the interest people have in other people and their lives. It may not be exotic to you, but I'd love to see you chat in front of a local historical site, walk along a river, a pub, book shop or garden. Changing settings would be an extra treat for the viewer.
