India has to deploy military force there to keep it under control. India is one of the few countries in the world who has to use military force to keep some of its "citizens" from rebelling and seeking independence.

Indians on the other hand, speak 22 different official languages. Basically cause a natural division among themselves. And then, there is further division cause by the infamous caste system.
