@ravi-it3vj Check the case of Argentina. More than 80% of manifesto of Congress were the policies of Argentina for last 50 years. Few other states with similar policies are Venezuela, Mexico (earlier), Portugal (earlier, when it was called as poor man of Europe), Albaina (it went bankrupt multiple times), UK (2 cities gone bankrupt, more to follow). The idea of redistribution has been tried multiple times very unsuccessfully, examples are Soviet Union (millions where killed, especially Ukrainians), China (Cultural revolution, killed ~60 million), Cambodia (Khmer Roughe regime, killed ~ 2 million). These are just few off my head from memory. Feel free to investigate further. And our state of West Bengal tried it in its own way, though through the lens of "class struggle" which resulted in driving away Birlas, Goenkas, Marwaris and other industrialists because of which Kolkata fell apart. Now Bengalis go to other states for Education, Health Care and Employment.
Philosophically, if you start going "Robin Hood", then all those who are wealthy will leave the country, pull out investments, shut down their factories and take their money away. They will have no incentive to generate wealth. It is equivalent to criminalizing wealth, which will result in poverty. Cheers and best wishes!
