  1. True. One of my colleagues is a refugee from Bangladesh. They left everything and have come to India. And get this, they have left even West Bengal. He says West Bengal is a scary state. It reminds him of all the gory stories of Bangladesh his gradmom used to tell him.

  2. Lefties are really loonies. Today morning one wokie was arguing that CAA is discriminatory and violates article 14 of the constitution. My friend replied to him that constitutional rights are applicable to Indian nationals only and NOT refugees from neighboring foreign countries. But he still persisted. Exasperated my friend told him very coquettishly - "So, you want a Muslim who is persecuted in a country that is formed for and by Muslims to be given citizenship in a country that is majority Hindu? All the while the said Muslim country is formed because they decided that they can't live with Hindus?" They are out of their minds
