I really enjoyed the opening remark of DK JI. Especially the observation that one of the reasons for decline of left (or Marxists) is because of the evolution of Welfare State and because of it the Marxist's idea of "Class struggle" is irrelevant. Nah, I don't think even Shekhar Ji knows some very special subject and he defers it to domain expert. And TBH, I don't it is necessary for one to be able to answer ALL question live. It is okay if they provide the answer in form of a link to an article from other expert. Even that is also an answer. Everyone doesn't need to know everything. Its fine as long as the journalist knows broad subjects of civil society - politics, ethics, justice, social structures etc. Hope I was able to make my point clear. Cheers and best wishes!
