And TBH, Indian voter has seen so much of Crime and Corruption during the rule of Congress, he no longer cares for it. Your "moral" lectures have absolutely no relevance to electoral politics. Also I usually say this especially regarding politics : Yesterday's S C O U N D R E L S have become today's saints with morals because they've lost their ability to win elections.
