@EL_Duderino68 : LOL, they invest in them in China. As of 2020, 184 coal-fired power plants are under construction in China and as of 2020, 350 coal-fired power plants are under construction around the world !

@binks7988 : Nope. There are no commercial scale thorium reactors yet in operation and thorium cannot be used directly in current generation uranium-fuelled reactors.
1
@binks7988 : Then list any by name and location !
1
@binks7988 : Name the countries and plants. There are none !
1
@binks7988 Still no locations or names, WHY ? Simple there are none.
1
@binks7988 : Shidao Bay Nuclear Power Plant does not use Thorium !
1
@binks7988 : LOL, Nice Hat. There are no commercial scale thorium reactors.
1
@binks7988 : BTW, I'm a fan of Thorium and promote Thorium Fission and Fusion research. That is why I call out anyone promoting false information about Thorium as it detracts from the genuine research projects.
1
@binks7988 : I'm glad you now admit there are no working Thorium reactors.. (Copy and Paste) Quote: "Theres over 14 countries with thorium reactors working". No. If they had any "working" Thorium reactors then it would be commercialised extremely quickly for obvious reasons.
1
@binks7988 : Yet you cannot provide the location and name of any of those 14 "Working Thorium Reactors" ! That is because there are none. There are more than 14 "Thorium Research Projects" however and I recommend you read about them.

@EL_Duderino68 : SMR or any number of large nuclear plants. From the Australian Workers’ Union and CFMMEU POWER COSTS PER KILOWATT Large Scale Solar: $14,882 Wind: $12,373 Fossil Fuels: $10,000 Nuclear: $5,596 ARENA: Large Scale Solar $13,900 per watt Nuclear Power through the lens of an Australian Trade Union
1
@EL_Duderino68 : So you are a "Science Denier" !
1
@EL_Duderino68 : AWU and CFMEU are Unions. ARENA is Australian Renewable Energy Agency. They both agree LSS is the most expensive power by far, ridiculously expensive and they don't include the much more expensive "Batteries".

It has changed A LOT !
1
@appleleaker135 : It can easily be done in ten years incl the planning if we pass the legislation.
1
@appleleaker135 : They should have put it up as legislation. It's the commonsense answer.
