  2. Testing won't cause a hump in deaths. The reason for the summer hump was the easing of internal travel restrictions, and the fact that your average Swede doesn't take the pandemic seriously.

  3.  @johanstang8298  Not in the death statistics, especially not for sweden since we never did count people who died from Covid we counted those who died with covid.

  4. Sweden's biggest problem is 1. Not recommending masks, even today they're not doing it. 2. Not managing to stress the severity of the issue to the people sufficiently.

  5. ​ @LINEHED  There WAS little data on it, at the beginning of summer, ainly because no one had had time to do any studies but now that they have they show that masks are remarkably effective. They expected them to only help you not to get other sick, but turns out they actually do a lot to keep you from getting sick too which was unexpected. A respirator is another word for a ventilator and has nothing to do with masks at all. And people in Sweden can't become more relaxed about social distancing because they're NOT FUCKING SOCIALLY DISTANCING ANYWAY!
