  2. Not so long as it's just the EU that can take on debt on behalf of the entire union. The Euro is a bigger reason there needs to be limitaiton on what the member states can do.

  3. Your leaders would not be able to unilatterally take on debt in the name of the EU. The EU can give you money from loans taken on behalf of the union but they'll also be asking to see results from that money and if they fail to deliver Europpol should have a mandate to investigate. Correctly handled this may be a way to root out corruption from European countries.

  5.  @Mr.Nichan  Those are extreeme cases truth be told al that's really is a harmonisation of borrowing not full on collective borrowing.

  7. I think it's a good idea as long as no state can unilaterally take on debt that everyone will be required to pay.
