  1.  @iljajekimov4997  "Ford does not compete with Tesla, 2 totally different drive modes." I agree, and the "Cruise" in "Blue Cruise" is honest enough, it's another step up in cruise control. The problem is apparently Ford wants it to be seen as more, with "mapped" areas and hands-free capability and some AI-type road-following. Which doesn't appear to be delivering much.

  2. I drove a 2019/20 Rav 4 with automatic lane keeping and adaptive cruise control. As long as I was on a highway with good painted lines it did everything Blue Cruise does - no automatic lane changes, just like Blue Cruise. The only thing new I can see with Ford is the actual hands-free feature, which I definitely like, as long as it's paired with a camera-based monitoring of driver attentiveness. Btw, I see misleading stuff on this - does Tesla FSD include hands-free with camera monitoring? Will it in soon-to-come versions?

  4. I drove a 2019 Rav-4 that could do all that and it didn't need a blue zone, just a road with good painted lines. OK, I had to keep one hand on the wheel, but wtf? That limited hands-free bit merits the name Blue Cruise?
