  1. In case anyone thinks Sandy is too enthusiastic: What you hear is the release of his many hears of pent-up frustration at OEM's and their reluctance to change. They've structured their companies over the decades to be less and less capable of change, let alone radical and rapid change. After decades of this the Tesla way of doing things is music to his ears - and eyes.

  2.  @FrederickKoehlmann  Yup. That's another Sandy rant. An accurate rant made by him and others. Of course the poster boy for this is the tragic decline of Boeing but it applies to OEMs and too many other other industries.

  3. 17:35 Time after time Sandy and others find something unique and advanced about Tesla's alloys. Tesla is long known for it's cutting edge metallurgy - which should not be a surprise since they've said the metallurgy team is shared between Tesla and SpaceX. Once upon a time manufactures of TVs and many other items used the buzz words "this has Space Age technology." Tesla has made this literally true.
