OK, my one genie wish is to have Sandy do a teardown comparison of the SpaceX Dragon and Boeing Starliner capsules. Even from what we know already there's a vast difference between SpaceX's approach and the legacy aerospace company's use what we know approach along with compartmented engineers.

IIRC Sandy said the first Telsa teardown report (Model3) was bought by multiple foreign car makers and none of the U.S. ones. Aargh! Seems like Ford should have bought one back then - even that car had a much better system than the Mach-E.

@niking92 I'm sure they do - but just cat videos and Beavis and Butthead clips.

@cryan9376 Exactly. I've had this thought for pluses and minuses of the Mach-E and some others. I think this would help the Mach-E on a couple of points - but this thermal system is such a mess it looks bad no matter what, it's the poster boy for non-integrated engineering and failure to think outside the box. Too bad, because the Mach-E managed this a couple of times elsewhere. (And I think an early Model S will still win.)
