Thank you Shekhar for clearly explaining how UPA govt. created growth. By sunsidizing fuel, you can create demand and thereby show increase in business, all resulting in growth rate. Only problem is that it comes at a huge, unsustainable cost, debt, and no room for capital expenditure.

Bangladesh also has outsourced infra development. The Padma bridge was built by Chinese Major Bridge Engg. LTD, whereas it was funded by Bangladesh. It should have been the other way around. China funding and Bangladesh using its companies to build it.

@curiouscynic4357 but why did Bangladesh spent their own money. This doesn't help them in infra development. They could have taken money from Japan, like India did, and used that to fund the infra developers from their soil. They could have used India to do that...
