  2.  @kc0811  UPA has hyper inflation close to 15% in 2008-2009 and again close to 12% in 2012-2013. Modi govt. inflation never went above 8.7%. The inflation only happened after Russia Ukraine war.

  3. This was done in COVID, to get revenue. Also, because the activity was low in COVID, there was a chance of hoarding petrol given the low international market price.
