I don't think demo has any effect lingering now. This is just a boogey-man theory.

@adityarajchauhan7949 You are making a big deal out of the demo. It didn't have any effect. In fact, demo helped us sustain the economy during the pandemic because demo ensured that all vendors were equipped to handle digital transactions. Come COVID-19, when social distancing was enforced, the digital commerce picked up naturally. Had there been no demo. Indian street vendors would not have bothered to adopt Paytm, GooglePay, etc., and, therefore, would have been unprepared during COVID.

@adityarajchauhan7949 Money coming back means nothing. Money coming back also means that RBI has been printing a lot more money than they have been claiming. For sure, we have seen a lot of money been smoked, drowned in rivers, etc. The most important thing is that those black money now is in the purview of the government. Read an article by Kushagra Bajaj on this issue of money coming back to RBI. This is the title of the article in economic times: 'What of the ‘extra’ money with the RBI?'
