Where were these MPs during UPA? They had selective amnesia at that time. UPA cleverly swept all the NPAs under the rug.

@omkarchauhan7675 Only after IBC was enacted in 2015. There was no compulsion before that. There was no notion of NPA before that.

@divyeshmandavia979 This was not the case before IBC came into play. Earlier, banks would call them as debts/outstanding loans. After IBC in 2015, banks came forward to declare how much of the outstanding loans are not irrecoverable. Those outstanding loans then get categorized as NPAs.

@debasishmukhopadhyay8480 what is your point? TMC is still not revealing the extent of teacher's scam, you are alleging that this government is keeping information close to their heart. I don't know why they are not revealing. Either way the mess created by the banking system during UPA is being forgotten by the public. The so-called reformer, MMS, let our banking system rot for the latter part of UPA.
