  1. E-brake does not stand for emergency brake, it stands for Electronic parking brake.

  3. You did the right thing showing Troy how to remove the broken bolt, I'm a visual learner too, although I can usually look at something and see how it works through logical process. Someone telling me how, is more confusing.
