This is where like Elmer Keith's embellished revolver is the perfect example of the workmanship not going to waste. it was a thing that made every day of his life just a little bit nicer because somebody put the work in. He had that level of craftsmanship put into it but then he carried the thing constantly and it shows on the gun. To me that is so much cooler than a safe queen. I'm not in the market segment that can do something like that. But if I ever get there I probably will. I think it would be fun to have something like a very embellished Boburg That is personalized to me. Or maybe something like a rhino. or even a more practical gun like a sig 365 but with an aftermarket aluminum frame, carved up and perfected.
