  1. Note that he had cast lead bullets. With a 6 cav mold, these can be cast at about 400 an hour, with a cost of about 1.5 cents per projectile. Reloading them is probably about 300 an hour on a progressive. If he loads them light they could be in the neighborhood of 20-30 cents a shot. I would bet he goes through less ammo cost than the average tacticool guy does through his AR on a range trip. If he is using black powder, the cost goes up a bit and the cleaning time would go way up.
