  4. They're really just not that interesting. You can get gas tubes with a curly q in them that effectively lengthen the gas system. you can get reinforced gas tubes which meltdown at a higher temperature but that's stupid. Because the whole point of the gas tube is that it is a mechanical fuse. The the tube will fail before the barrel will fail due to heat. Then you have a manual repeater, which did not blow up in your face, and still shoots.
