  3. Haruka Inoue In other words, it is not fair nor accurate to refer to foreigners as a single entity, because all "foreigners" are not the same. This sort of binary thinking doesn't do much to help understand foreign people and foreign cultures. In this case, Japanese are not the only people who place a high value on cleanliness in society.
