  3. Its not even a case of being emotionally invested in a fictional character. Ive been that invested in fiction where I had an emotional connection but I dont get bent out of shape if something horrific happens to them. This is the weird twitterati who dont even care about the fiction getting bent out of shape over seeing "graping" in media as anti-woman, in their twisted and hypocritical world view. So please dont go lumping in people who get invested in the media in with the fruit cakes who have nothing better to do but whine on twitter all day.
