I grew up then too and not once has it been a term of endearment for anyone who wasnt black. you said that in 90-91-92-93-etc and you would still get physically assaulted. this magical place you think you were in never existed. people just got so soft today that anything that remotely sounds like it might be that word get twisted, instead of actually saying it.
