  1. this is the same issue in comics, there are plenty of already established characters who are black that they can use if they need representation but a wise man once said, they only see validity in white characters, thats why they turn them into something else rather than make a new character or bring back an existing one.

  3. As much as I like Capaldi as an actor, I consider anything past Smith to be non-canon, in my head canon he is still regenerating and all this was just a regen juice induced fever dream he was having and we have yet to see the real 12th doctor.
