🤔 I understand that Putin's supporters are a backwards lot, but at least offer some source to support your accusations of fakeness. Since the failure of this special operation the world has seen the comedy of errors that is the Russian military, so you must understand the hesitancy of sane people to just believe the delusional rantings without proof.

😂 I love to know exactly how you think that a country that is currently trying everything It can to hold onto the stolen lands of Ukraine is going to miraculously accomplish what it failed to do nearly 2 years ago. I would also love to see what sources you are using that have you believing this delusion.

 @alexk1308 🤔 It was the birthplace of democracy as we know it. Though the quality of personal freedoms or morality is inconsequential to what a nation states can say.

@alexk1308 The last things I have heard coming from France are problems with their pensioners and protests, though I would love to see the source material for this rebirth of democracy. And though discussion of how democracy is applicable in today's modern world is interesting in its own right, It does little to support your accusations of how past crimes negate the legitimate points brought up in critiques of ones' rival, or how democracy is not a valid cause for the support of this war.

@alexk1308 Of course it's possible to lie in a democracy, at its fundamentals It is nothing more than majority rule. Tragically human beings are not saints, and we must do the best with what we have. I have never claimed any nobility or honesty in the business practises of the Europeans, nor with any other democracy. In a capitalistic system it is profit that rules and nothing else. And yes, Europe has attacked Russia, but so has Russia, there are no innocent parties here, and to claim otherwise is delusional. And after the Soviet Union attacked NATO would follow, and depending on the exact situation the world as it was would have ended. The events of 2014 are now a foot note in history, the Russians actions in this invasion have guaranteed the people of Ukraine will align themselves with the West. As the saying goes, history will be written by the victors, and unless Russia is hiding a massive army somewhere, It is not looking like they will win. As for Taiwan, it has requested aid, and the US is treaty bound to provide it.

@alexk1308 Simply because you believe that the Russian point of view has more weight does not make it so. Solely based on your previous statements you have attempted to paint Russia as a historic victim of international machinations, which only makes sense if you ignore its own culpability. Russia could not wage a conventional military war with NATO even if it wanted to, it's vaunted military forces have been destroyed. Though I would love to see the sources you are using to support this loss of European sovereignty and will of Ukrainian democracy.

@alexk1308 Let me get this straight. Your sources are grievances applicable to both sides? So this defence of Russia by criticising European democracy is fundamentally nothing more than, "my side is better than yours". And simply stating that there is some vague plan without offering any details is absolutely meaningless. Conventionally, strategically and asymmetrically, Russia cannot win.

@alexk1308 Of course it is competing to win, it's in a war. Russia illegally invaded a sovereign country, how it wishes to rationalise this to itself is unimportant. And having access to alternate viewpoints isn't the problem, the issue is whether or not they offer anything of value. Politicians and businessmen profetearing from this war, as well as the suspension of peacetime practises can be found on both sides. Again, this is nothing more than "my side is better than yours".

@alexk1308 Both sides failed to comply with the agreements, this repeated tactic of only focusing on one side's failures while whitewashing the other's is a testament to the lack of any real honesty in your position. From the beginning of this exchange you have only hurled accusations at the West that are equally as applicable to the Russians, yet seemingly care little about the hypocritical position this places you in. Multiple times you have attempted to cast Russia as a victim of western machinations, all the while ignoring the crimes perpetrated by Russia to offer historical context. Now you mask yourself as a seeker of truth, while championing individuals who are demonstrably anything but. Again, Ukraine is the victim of an illegal invasion, and whatever lies you wish to tell yourself will not change this fact.

@alexk1308 The popularity or monetary value of a fact has no relevance to its truth. Again, the same is applicable to both sides. You proclaim the value of truth, then hypocritically attack one side for crimes both parties are guilty of. You do not care about who is right, only that your side is. My support for Ukraine is for the defence of a victim of an illegal war perpetrated by an enemy state. Whitewashing, or going through mental gymnastics is not required to defend that position.
