The Norwegian Nobel Committee decides on the winner." The submission of a nomination does not mean the nomination is official.

@JethroBodineWhooWee69 "To simply be nominated is therefore not an endorsement or extended honour to imply affiliation with the Nobel Peace Prize or its related institutions." And they should do their homework a little better, having someone nominate you for the prize doesn't actually mean anything. Unless you win or are officially mentioned by the organisation, touting the nomination is disingenuous otherwise.

@JethroBodineWhooWee69 Have you never heard of news Retractions? I wish our news was a paragon of infallibility but it is composed of human beings with deadlines to meet and bills that need to get paid, laziness and mistakes happen. Now whether or not something is fake news is another issue since I would need to prove intent to actively mislead, and I simply do not have access to such information, I could try to create a case based on associations that are publicly available for said entity, but they will be nothing more than assertions, not facts.
