It is a process that has been winding through our institutions since the early 1970s, but then turned into a specific reaction to the Conservative governments of the 1980s. It then was given full reign with the arrival of Blair and NuLabour as he and his cabal placed their apparatchiks in senior positions right through the entire public sector. But even major employers in the private sector were badly impacted by pressure for minority representation and recruitment irrespective of any candidate's talent and experience. And, those of us old enough watched it happen. When anyone said anything it was just denied or ignored. But no one dealt with the Brian Redhead types, kicking them out of the BBC. The opposite happened; the BBC saw it as a green light to behave any way they liked. So they did. And here we are! Well done all you effete nobodies who could have prevented it, but were either bought-off or too bloody lazy to engage with these Marxists.
