  1. Well, it’s a rain forest. Not a tropical rain forest. And he did mention that Ketchikan is the “Rain Capital of Alaska.” I think Ketchikan’s average is more like 150” annually. I was there for two days in 1995. The whole time I was there it poured! I bought an umbrella and a new pair of sneakers there. Briggs lucked out; he didn’t need an umbrella. ☔️
