  1. There are two questions being ask do we want these people recognised in the constitution and the second is do we want to give them a voice. So is that basically suggesting that all the Aboriginal government ministers have been useless in the past and maybe they should give back all the money they wasted when they haven't actually done anything? And what is it that you're actually going to do that you haven't tried in the past ?other than giving them a voice that's going to stop the human atrocities happening every day in Australia? Now for a long time we've had a big problem of committee members that are constantly offended about things so they don't actually have to do any real work in the community . They refused to have the full bloods on the panel because they know that they will start asking questions and again there are no full blood elders on this committee and we're going to get exactly the same as what we've had in the past, A trillion dollars in funding and we're still trying to work out what's not offensive when we address them but nothing else has changed and no constitutional alteration will change that

I am not saying that people of mixed blood shouldn't be involved, especially when a lot of places don't have full bloods anymore like the eastern states. I am saying that the full bloods that still exist are part of the community as well and they're the ones The voice is supposed to be about but it won't be about them it'll be about the interpretation of the mixed-blood people that think they represent the people in the bush who don't even know who they are

Unfortunately you have a lot of people that don't even go to these communities and the people out there have never heard of ,stealing all the money and having useless committee meetings about what offends them so they don't actually have to do any work .   18. If I was a judge I would say to these kids ok for 12 months you have to wear Kmart clothes and if you're caught wearing anything with a brand name you're going straight to jail for 12 months youth crime would drop drastically

Get back to families being together get rid of the American influence and we may have a chance but not while we have American companies asking children to commit crimes to put on line so they can make money

People used to get up at 7 in the morning working in factory all day looking after the house on the weekend and still had time to work out which politician they liked

  28.  @ryzeup5654  because prior to the eighties women were treated like second-class citizens all over world. many great female activists changed that with all their work by the time the 80s rolled around there was complete equality with both men and women and my point is there is no disadvantage anymore they are pretending there is disadvantage to get a attention for a cause that was solved 40 years ago.   29. It may actually help if small business can advertise and could employ people which we can't anymore because of bloody Google . Advertising is so difficult now that people are giving up and they're not employing young people and you have kids that think they're s*** doesn't stink so they won't actually go and get educated or learn a trade . Also the Yanks are convincing everybody that it should be 24-hour play time so it really is difficult

Where I live in South Australia there is plenty of full bloods. And a lot of their relatives volunteered to come to the stations because life was so much easier

  38.  @leemackie8434  it is actually about the full bloods because the white people pretending to be aboriginal want to sit on all the committees and soak up all the funding in the city and pretend these people don't exist and that's why we're having these issues in Alice Springs . The whole reason why it's racist to say full blood is because the white ones don't want that subject bought up but 40 years later and a trillion-dollars in money and we still have the same stuff going on because the money is not getting to the community's it's being spent on cultural days and these bloody committees that want to change the name every couple of years so they have to have hours of committee meetings and not actually do any real work and solve the issues. And the full bloods are the ones saying they're sick to death of this. There was a story of a traditional elder that went to the committees and said you're not giving any money to the community you're spending it on yourself I want something done about this. That night they sent people round to bash this poor old man and tell him to keep his mouth shut . It's a very complex situation but if we're just going to allow part aboriginal people to be the voice we are only going to end up in the same situation
