Meh, that's at best correlation. Correlation does not prove causation. Example: Trump's peak DJI number was 32,000. Biden's peak number was 38,000. After the Fed signaled last week that they were slowing the interest rate increases, markets jumped significantly Friday and again today. My assessment is that you don't have a sufficient understanding of how these markets work to be watching your valuations. Just leave it alone and stop looking at it, and for the love of GOD don't do what so many other conservatives do: DON'T pull your money out when the market is down.

@IronskullGM I agree, sort of. It is more accurate to use the term energy. At this stage in our societies’ development petrochemicals are the main source of energy to power our industry, lifestyle, and food needs. But energy is the thing that we need. where the energy comes from is a secondary concern. that is why I was so excited to read the inflation reduction act. It makes major strides towards building infrastructure to supply energy that will disconnect the United States from the volatile prices of oil. Every time there’s a war, prices tend to go up. I suspect that many big investors are still sitting on the sidelines waiting to see if it looks like the Republican Party will overturn those renewable energy initiatives.

I am not pulling my support for sleepy Joe until he runs up a $7 Trillion dollar deficit like Trump did. Until Dems vote 100% no to medical care for Veterans like Repubs did, we are not even. Until Joe lets 1 million US workers die while he argues with a board certified doctor, I will continue to support him. And finally, I am not changing my support for the Dems until Biden packs the courts with people who will force all males to get a vasectomy against their will. I mean why not?
