  3. I still hold a small measure of hope that these Republicans will take their evidence and witnesses to a grand jury so the evidence can be inspected and the witnesses questioned. WE THE PEOPLE will either indict, or refuse to indict. The longer they hold this stuff back, the longer they delay WE THE PEOPLE from doing our civic duty.

  6. Have they tried taking the evidence to a grand jury? I have served, and it is pleasantly surprising how well WE THE PEOPLE can put aside our biases and make rulings on the evidence only. And I am praising those who disagree with my politics as well as those who agree. WE THE PEOPLE should get to inspect the evidence, interview the witnesses, and do the job grand juries are SUPPOSED to do. Bring those charges to a GRAND JURY! No more delays!!!

  7. Seriously, take that evidence to a state Republican Attorney General, and bring charges in a state. DOJ and FBI can't stop a state from prosecuting, and no president can pardon a state conviction. Only federal convictions.

  8. I voted for Biden, and I expect to do so again. But if he were to interfere with the investigation into either Hunter or Trump, I would turn on him in a heartbeat. Either one, and I go from support to aggressive opposition. We could not have a nation without justice. But yes, thank you.

  25.  @The-Wide-Angle  While I do not mean that any of these are more likely than the others, here are the possibilities I can think of: (A) Republicans are only trying to distract us from Trump's legal troubles. (B) The evidence they have will not stand up under actual cross-examination. (C) The Democrats have something like "compromising photos" of the Republicans that they are using to keep Republicans from charging or impeaching. (D) Republicans don't want to take the chance of losing in court, so they are trying to rile up the people into another insurrection. (E) Republicans really don't know the procedures for impeachment or indictments. What else could it be?
