  9. You are correct on both points. However, wishing things back to decency is a fool's errand. We've tried the rule of law, but we all see how laws only apply to SOME Americans. We've all put our faith in the Constitution, but we all saw the SCOTUS rule that Presidents can un-live their political rivals. Wail and cry for the good times that are gone, or pivot and let's create the pain necessary to actually RETURN to civility. Your choice.
