@Idontgetoffended After the shock of November wears off, please remember this post: You are in an information bubble. And I tried to tell you. 😐
2
@Idontgetoffended Who will you blame in November? I HOPE you blame the information bubble.
2
Sure bud.

@Idontgetoffended You have NO IDEA how many Republicans are actually going to cross over and vote for Biden, do you? See you in November, son.

I thought you MAGA were going to impeach Joe Biden. What happened?😊😊😊

@dougdouglass1248 Did you boys not know about Harris when you were chanting “we got ‘em THIS time!”🤣🤣🤣🤣 No one ever accused MAGA of being smart!

@smy5607 Out on bail in four jurisdictions. Have you forgotten the mug shot where trumpy tried to look tough? That mug shot wasn’t taken at the DMV. 🫠🫠🫠🤣🤣🤣

@smy5607 You read people like you read books: not very well. You read people like you impeach Biden: not very well. It’s possible traitor Trump won’t go to prison. He might assume room temperature first.

About your last sentence: that is correct, but it is not an insult. Switching a society from one fuel source to another is a mammoth undertaking. The only way that switch could occur without government intervention would be for us to wait until we run out of the old energy source. I’m sure you can imagine what sort of collapse that would cause to our economy and our society.

@Coonazz791 Wrong. Diesel is a great fuel. More BTU by volume than gasoline, and less energy intensive to refine. How many passenger cars in this country diesel?
1
@Coonazz791 You are missing the forest for all the trees. The market does not drive us to a fuel that is BETTER than electric. Diesel is the example. It’s a simple point, I am sure you can get it if you slow down and take your time.
1
@jimparker7778 Jim, let me make this simple. I like both hammers and screwdrivers equally. But I would not use a screwdriver to beat a nail into a 2x6. Use the CORRECT tool for the task at hand. Now see if you can apply that to your own comment.

@Coonazz791 Not a better fuel overall? More energy density than gasoline. More energy density than nitro methane. And it is less energy intensive (costly) to refine or produce than either gas or nitro. You and your boys here have tied yourselves into a knot. Because when you come back again and explain why diesel is an inferior fuel compared to gasoline, I will refer you back to the boy who said the free market would move to the best fuel on its own. If gasoline is superior to diesel, why hasn't the "free market" driven OTR trucks from diesel to gasoline? You guys all seem like you don't think before you type.
1
@Coonazz791 "Diesel is a better burning fuel..." While I'm handing out lessons, let's fix that misconception. Diesel is not a "better burning fuel". Diesel has a drastically higher flash point than gasoline. This means it takes more energy to bring it to the ignition point. Next, you seem to be confusing ignition characteristics with energy density. Diesel carries more energy by both weight and volume than gasoline. Period - end of discussion. If you can't understand that, you can't debate fuels.

@Coonazz791 I imagine it will be hard to comprehend, so here is a tip: You said "that’s not true. If EVs were so great, the consumer would decide." That was your first comment in this thread. Now read my comment just above it, the one you were replying to. Copy and paste where I was "defending EVs".

@Coonazz791 Read it again: “About your last sentence:” You didn’t quote me, so it’s clear you realize I didn’t say what you claim I did. Now you’re trying to rationalize this, which means it’s intentional. The first step in solving a problem is to acknowledge that it exists.
1
@Coonazz791 “Apart from those, the EV cannot thrive without government subsidies.” Then I said: “About your last sentence:” Then you jump in from the top rope onto something I did not say. You can pretend I said something I did not, or you can explain that what I said means something else. No one can stop you, but that craziness isn’t doing you any favors in life. I said what I said, and I meant what I said. Maybe you should go outside and touch grass.

@Coonazz791 I don't like electric cars. They bore me to tears, and I don't care that there are Teslas running in the 9's. But I am also an adult, and I listened when Exxon Mobile said back in 2011 that there are "about 100 years" of petroleum left to extract. Our ENTIRE economy is running on an energy source that will be exhausted in the lifetime of my kids. If the USA hasn't figured things out when the well runs dry here, we will be at the mercy of Russia, Iran, and Saudi Arabia. Having these conversations and trying to prime the pump ahead of the last barrel of oil is necessary, even if I don't like electric. Because I am an adult, and I look at reality. Maybe you should not have assumed so much about me.
