  2. I don't believe you can measure Ukraine war successes by meters. Look at how desperate Russia is getting. For Putin, there might be no alternative but to keep at it so he won't act rational, but the Russian military is stretched and under expierienced and under supplied. Russians are interdicting ships in the Black Sea while Ukraine drones Russian ships. I don't know if Turkey will put up with that forever. Will NATO defend shipping?

They are currently building another airfield right off the coast of Vietnam big enough for at least surveillance drones. Can the US take credit for increased cooperation between in East Asia in general? Sure, we let China build an military base on the former coral reef now called Fiery Cross Island. Biden was VP, so he can own some of that.
