@AnthropomorphicTrilobite They copy-paste it in every relevant video. Just have a debunk ready to copy-paste back at them. Don't spend more effort rebuking a lie than it took to make it.

@gregoryadair3223 When he apologises and admits his error, then it gets forgiven.

@RickySpanish12344 Shall we assume you realised something that nobody in Ukraine did, or shall we assume the situation on the ground doesn't allow such an easy solution? Which scenario seems more likely?

The problem with crowing about every win is that it makes it obvious when you don't have any new wins to brag about.

@sharon_shaw Like every Russian propaganda tactic, saturation is more important than anything. The aim is to give an impression to mainstream media that things aren't going well, as a stepping stone to attacking Western support.

Pay no attention to what Russia says, but watch which laws they're passing.

Same here, now. The BBC has a really good podcast, but their swallowing of the Russian disinfo after the dam was blown was a very shameful thing to see.

@rodsalvage7121 Their Ukrainecast podcast is really good, and doesn't spare anything on the horrors of what the Russians are doing. But they really drop the ball in giving Russian statements any credibility--they are obliged to be neutral, but after a certain point it's like giving equal time to geophysicists and flat earthers.

"The good news is that Putin survived the assassination attempt. The bad news is, he lost an arm...."

@JakeBroe I'm pretty sure that's why the botski brigade is pushing HARD the narrative that Western weapon systems are being "wasted". After observing how the War on Terror went and then spluttered out, he Kremlin believes the weak spot of the free world is popular distaste for war.

Bear in mind they're not trying to construct a believable story, they're trying to saturate all channels with the talking point du jour--whatever the latest thing is that lets them maintain the attack-attack-attack strategy. When that becomes outdated or untenable, they'll move onto a new one. The aim is to get their talking points into the mainstream through sheer repetition.

If it was proven that the officer behaved recklessly or negligently, that could be a reason. But such things are none of our business, and entirely in Ukraine's hands.
