The President of the United States did not declare that the Cuban nation does not exist, he did not declare that Cuba is "the historical land of the United States" and that Americans and Cubans are one people. And yes, there were nuclear missiles in Cuba, in Ukraine they were not. And yes, the US did not try to annex Cuban territory, while Russia did it in 2014 and is doing it now.
