Comments by "Ted Moss" (@tedmoss) on "Ukrainian Drones STRIKE Deep into Russian Territory! 6 DEC 22 Ukraine Daily Update" video.
@JanTheHun42 I'll betcha it goes faster. Russian RADAR operator, "What is that old TU-141 doing flying so fast?" BOOM!😁
4
@nthannisch You ever hear of satellites?
3
I was there in South-East Asia in 1966-7, The Russian SAM operators were very mad at us (Wild Weasels) because they had a hard time shooting down anything. But they did enough damage with a less than 9% kill rate.
2
You would be surprised what you can get out of "storage".
2
We suspect that to be the case, judging by the reduced numbers in action.
2
They will be soon though, just scrap laying on the ground.
2
Why bother with anything like that? Just go for the jugular. How about an old BOMARC or Regulus?
2
A slight difference in philosophy, between 17th century and today.
2
Actually quite like a small drone, that's what they are, a TU-141.
2
Repurposed or upgraded?
2
We are long done with PR.
2
There is nothing new under the Sun. It was ancient by 1980's standards.

A little American backbone goes a long way. Don't forget the contribution of others though.
1
Because it won't?
1
What a miserable end for a perfectly good airplane, just give them to the Ukrainians.
1
Ukraine was and is a builder of various modern devices, they will be better and may compete with Germany for dominance in Europe in 50 to 100 years.
1
How can a Russian bomber pilot drinking Vodka hit anything?
1
Why not take the easy route?
1
@Titan-zn3fs Quite true, the Russian government slurred up a hornets nest.
1
@ronaldbell7429 Must be using Occam's razor. The point is to keep the Russians guessing so the job becomes impossible.
1
What exactly do you think just happened?
1
Remember the RADAR operator in Hawaii on Dec. 7, 1941 in the hour before the Japanese attack? Unless he had to much Vodka, he saw them, just didn't believe it.
1
@borreLore I'd say 5 or 6 less next time.
1
You need to get rid of that plague, it is interfering with your communication.
1
@Guccifer808 Remember, this is a shell game, don't believe everything you hear.
1
Still, one attaboy for you.
1
@Para710 They applaud that the end of the war is near.
1
I'd say a very large stock, more than were even made originally.
1
Just check out SpaceX's rockets to see how big they can get.
1
That's good. Let's rephrase that, "It was an effective way to sent a message. Especially with someone who uses under the table tactics. In future years we will remember how really degraded and disgusting Putin's conduct of the war was.
1
@xisotopex You get an attaboy.
1
They are under threat from the whole world, not just Ukraine. The saving grace is it is in Russia's hands what the outcome is.
1
It has been known since 1980 that Ukraine had these drones. They took some out of a museum. Likely put updated electronics on them and fired them off to hit ammo dumps, but missed one and hit a truck next to a plane, it didn't do the plane any good either.
1
Tit for tat.
1
True, it might have kept 5 or 6 planes out of action. And what I was waiting for to keep the Russians occupied at home with their crappy air defense.
1
That's because they are chicken.
1
Should have never had to happen in the first place. How long does it take you to get a missile out of the museum and upgrade it ? These things were designed in the 1960's.
1
That's right, a Russian maintenance worker was smoking a cigarette and threw his match the wrong way.
1
You need to bone up on what the Chinese have been doing for years now.
1
You can never be to eager.😁
1
Yes, around 1910.
1
They wanted to catch them loading the planes and were only partly successful.
1
@00mihec00 You must remember you are talking to juveniles.
1
@jeckjeck3119 That is a theory, not a fact.
1
@weiwenng8096 Since they never will be used for anything else, why not?
1
@ryanvanderwel2301 You don't need to bother, there are as many ways to do this as there are people reading this collection of idle musings.
1
@probablyinconsistent4756 A missile can be hit at any place along its path, so nothing here makes much sense.
1
If you are implying there is a lot of targets in Russia, you are correct.
1
I hope it freezes over, giving hell to the Russians, although a cold hell.
1
One attaboy for you.
