  1. If you and your wife file taxes jointly and she remains a citizen of the US, then she will be subject to global taxation. So there will be an IRS in your life if you file jointly with her. For your kids it doesn't matter - their US taxes will have nothing to do with you. We dont have familial taxation, yet, lol.
