  4.  @saadtheman1  in all of my contents Saad I never mentioned Mazda having good resale. I did say they are reliable. I lease my cars to avoid depreciation which they all do greatly in the first 3 years. I have been a car salesman at the Bob Moore Infiniti Porsche Audi store and I sell used cars also. I appraise cars daily. I work in the finance department part-time. I know more about cars that you’ll ever know. I’ve never said Toyota’s were bad. Their 9-speed transmission was a problem for a couple years. The Corolla drive like a brick for years until the current redesign. The Tacoma is in badly need of some updates and adjustments. The Tacoma gets horrible gas mileage. The Highlander was also a brick to drive, Toyota’s are called transportation appliances. The 3rd row in that Highlander is a joke. Their designs aren’t that good. But yes they are generally reliable and hold more value than Mazda. But most people keep their Toyota’s so resale value isn’t a factor for them. Also, it took Toyota until recently to get Apple CarPlay in their cars. Their doors feel cheap when you close them. I sat in a new Camry a few weeks ago and noticed they don’t cut their plastic trim pieces very evenly so parts don’t match all that great when you start looking closely. The Avalon doesn’t sell well. I still like Toyota. But they aren’t perfect. They’ve been boring until recently. The reviewers hate the CVT’s and engines in the Corolla. I could go on. Mazda is a great vehicle. It’s come along ways since the separated from Ford 15 or so years ago. Watch some reviews and they will validate everything I say. I watch Corolla reviews last night and Car Gurus trashed the Corolla except for the strong chassis and safety systems and large trunk.
