  2. So if folks treat loaners like this, imagine how they treat rental cars! For about 5 years, I was on a team that flew all over the country and rental cars and hotels were our way-of-life. Anyway, I saw rental cars that didn't even have 5,000 miles on them that were just trashed...even had a few with not enough oil to show up on the dipstick. (Yes, I always checked out my cars before driving off.) I don't remember a SINGLE rental car that had clean-looking oil on the dipstick...all were very, very black. Folks, don't EVER buy a car that had used as a rental....buyer beware!!!

  3. Video Suggestion: Safety tips for us DYIers who work in our garage. Lifting/jacking correctly; importance of chalking tires; protective gear to have and use (eyes; ears; hands; feet); fire hazards; proper lifting techniques; etc. I'm sure many of us have "don't do this" stories like mine of wearing my wedding ring and knocking my knuckle on the concrete floor getting a transmission drain bolt lose, and my finger swelling which ended up having to go to the ER to get the ring cut off.
