  4. 3:32: I’m sure people are already saying it, but ‘the surface of our brains are covered in proteins called prions’ is not true at all. I get that Simon is just reading a script, but this is really inaccurate. Prions are the misfolded proteins. While non-living, they are an infective particle in that they cause other proteins to misfold by contact (those previously normal proteins then becoming prions). This can occur throughout the brain. We do have layers of cells and tissue (dura mata, archnoid, pia mata) covering our brains, but they are not to do with prion diseases.
