So there was an interesting video about the Republic of Cyprus and their passport program which was posted on Al Jazeera. You can easily find it on the web. It was called the Cyprus passport program. So there was extensive discussion on that video about people coming onto the island that have dubious criminal past as well as politically exposed persons. One of the things they were discussing was the ability to change your name. So one of the lawyers I remember on the video said many of the people that I have gotten cypriot passports for couldn't even fly on their own name. They were on no fly lists, which is even worse than a criminal record hey, it's more like you're considered a terrorist and a threat to every country in the world. Of course I'm not advocating that you do any of these things, but there is extensive discussion about how these things work and I'm sure it continues to this day. It's probably going to become more difficult as biometrics are embedded into all passports. So it wouldn't matter what you change your name to, you don't have a way to change your fingerprints. So if you already have fingerprints under John the criminal, Bill squeaky clean will come up as John the criminal so it might not help you. But I think Andrew clearly said in his video that the more minor the crime, and the longer it was a go, the better you are. Of course, most countries will not accept pardons or expunged records. Expunging a record simply takes it off the database of the country you're living in. Usually Canada does that. That won't help you travel to other countries. But generally speaking if you would have a AAA passport, and you're going to a triple b country, they could care less if you have a criminal record or not. Usually you're not going there to cause any problems in your country, and you're only a benefit to the country cuz you're going to spend money. So the last thing in the world they're going to do is look into things of that nature. But I suppose when you apply for permanent residency or a passport, that question usually does come up. And it's getting more and more difficult as time goes on to get these things dealt with. Of course in the United States you can always apply for a waiver which would enable you to go to the US. But of course other countries do have the ability to refuse you entry if you have even the smallest criminal record. Generally speaking Europe is a lot less strict especially if it's been a significant lapse of time. They probably feel you have been rehabilitated.

There is no meltdown in the Middle East. You have one country, Iran which is a terrorist entity and wants to export their culture in a forceful manner on to other countries. Israel of course is the country that they are most concerned with, second by Saudi Arabia. The big problem they have with Israel is that it is a threat to the Muslim world from a religious point of view. Most people don't understand that. It is not a threat in any other way to them, Israel has never attack any other country, and only defended against barbarism, and other threats. They're most concerned that Saudi Arabia and Israel will normalize which was the impetus for the current war. They felt that Saudi Arabia was on the cusp of normalizing with Israel. They prefer to export terrorism and have people live in squalor, brainwashing these people that somehow that's the way things should be. The other thing that happened of course is that the Russians were desperate to get their war off the front burner. They've done a good job with that, you don't hear discussion about the Ukraine war, do you? So they were instrumental in assisting the Palestinian terrorists in Gaza with high tech weaponry enabling them to mount one of the most heinous isis style terrorist attacks not ever seen in the Middle East. The war will end probably pretty soon. Should Lebanon enter the war full scale, their country will be bombed back to the Stone age. And they can ill afford to do that. Their currency is down 90%, and they have defaulted on their international bonds. In summary they're broke, and Iran is not interested in helping them out except by giving them weapons to export terrorism, and perhaps paying leaders of these terrorist organizations money enabling them to live the life of Riley while millions suffer trying to find bread to eat. Qatar has become another funder not to mention the fact that their news station Al Jazeera spews hateful rhetoric 24/7, and presents the news in a manner which is not a lie, but rather devoid of the entire story. The severe omissions give the impression that something different is happening than it actually is. And people that are fanatical who would watch this, believe that, and they believe that they are being prosecuted by the West.
