  2.  @darnation8650  oh so sorry. Normally you're allowed to go to the states on a land border if you are permanent resident of Canada, even before you become a citizen. As far as those five countries that you mentioned, obviously there are issues from my security point of view. I'm not sure how the biden administration is dealing with them. I know that Trump was doing maximum vetting. I suppose, and I'm guessing now as long as you're not on a terrorist watch list or a no-fly list, you may be all right. But I would check with us immigration to get the clear answer. Anyway there's so much covid all over the world, it's best to stay home. And I would not travel unless it was absolutely necessary. Canada is like 8,000 km wide and you can go by snowmobile from one end of the country to the other. It's a big wonderful country and according to USA news, it has the best quality of life in the world. So my best recommendation would be to stay put. Canada is also quite a safe country, the United States not so much. Coming from Syria, you're well aware of wars, terrorism, bombings, and all kinds of violence. You can rest assured that Canada is a relatively safe country with very low crime rates. That is the case because of a tremendous amount of social program, and that people are not desperate to do things that would land them on the other side of the law. Work hard, start businesses, and earn a good living. You can now run a small business and pay only 15% tax on the first four or $500,000 of income which should be enough to keep you in a style likely better than where you came from. Enjoy your stay in Canada!

  8. That information is very well documented and it's all over the internet if you want to look at it. Basically what people do is hire the company who have in their back office historians we generally do research on their family name to see the origins of where they came from. They then team up with the Jewish community in those countries which provides letters authenticating the origins of that particular family. Based on that historical data and a number of other documents, applicants can assemble a file and submit it to the Portuguese authority to get citizenship. It's a very unique type of application and does not have very broad-based appeal, particularly to the public. Even this video has very little broad-based appeal. A lot of people don't know but there is a very small percentage of the population that is Jewish. In most countries that have large Jewish communities like Canada the United States France Argentina Brazil and a few others, it's much less than 1%. The two largest communities are Israel and the tri-state area of New York. The rest of the areas are very sparsely populated with the Jewish people. So when you're making a video that applies to such a small percentage of the population, it's a very little interest to the overall population. And in the case of the Portuguese passports, they apply to even a much smaller group of people. So I don't think you're going to see a video like this by Mr h. It's kind of like dangling a piece of roast beef in front of a dog that's chained and he's 2 inches away from being able to grab it.
