@bssaassin1900 Well, you probably shouldn't have moved to Texas in the first place if you hate that kind of environment that's there. I hate horrible Winters so I'm not moving to places like Minnesota and Wisconsin.

@bssaassin1900 Me too! Mid-Cities. I'm right near DFW Airport, so it's easy to leave the area if I want. There isn't much outdoorsy stuff right here, but a little bit of a drive can change that. A group of us rented a house in Gruene in New Braunfels in June and we went tubing down the Guadalupe River. It was a blast!

@wayoutwest3009 Laugh all you want. All those states you mentioned are indeed beautiful. You know what else they are? Bitter cold in the Winter, except for SoCal. You can keep it. Texas cities aren't cheap anymore. They were before the POS CA Evacuee Locusts moved here in large masses at one time over a period of a few years and drove up the costs of everything. On beauty alone, the Hill Country and SPI areas in Texas are nice but the other states you mentioned are better than Texas can ever be. On everything else, that's up for debate. Different strokes for different folks. I love heat and hate cold. There are places in some of the states you mentioned that I love. I vacation in SoCal sometimes and I love Bend, OR for it's craft beer scene. I haven't made it to CO except for a very brief deployment with the Military to the Colorado Springs area, but I do want to check out CO. I'll never go to Alaska no matter how pretty it is.

I'm into craft beer and love Bend, OR because of that. Deschutes Brewery is awesome.

@bssaassin1900 I get where you're coming from. Everyone is different. I love heat and hate cold so as far as weather goes, I like Texas. I don't know where in Texas you are, but Texas Hill Country is beautiful, and East Texas is popular with the hunting and fishing crowd. Places like Colorado are great for the outdoors, but unfortunately come with a high cost of living. Even Texas has had their housing and rent shoot up thanks to the influx of the CA Evacuee Locusts decimating our cities. Anyway, I wish you happiness and hope you get to leave Texas if that's what you want.

@bssaassin1900 Euless always has had ticket hungry cops. I knew people that would leave the topless places in Fort Worth that borders Euless and go back towards Arlington rather than go through the little stretch of land in Euless that connects to 183. Crime has gone up in Euless largely because of the easy access to Highway 360. It seems like something is happening in the apartment complexes in the Bear Creek area all the time The highway access to multiple highways is also why housing prices are ridiculous in Euless as well. It's convenient to get to Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, and Grapevine, and it's literarily right next to DFW Airport. Dude, I can tell by your picture that you are living in the wrong spot! I hope you get to find your way to a more rural area.
