  1. Briggs. I would give a shout out to Laguna Beach in CA. IMO it's just as good as the beaches you mentioned. You can get a hotel on the beach. Also, everything to do is in walking distance, except for the seal rescue on the top of the mountain. I didn't need a car the whole time I was there.

  3. Right there with you, Bro. I was born and raised in NJ. Lived in Upstate NY briefly. I moved to Texas after getting out of the Military. NO WAY will I move back to anywhere that gets a real Winter.

  5.  @yungthunder2681  Well, that may be true. But I'm in Texas. That's much warmer than Colorado. I'm not going anywhere that has a real Winter. Been there, done that. Never doing it again. Also, the only beaches I have interest in are WARM beaches. Alaska is disqualified because it's, well, Alaska. :)

  6.  @troyottosen8722  Wow! I didn't say anything bad about your home state. You have absolutely no reason to insult me. I'm not a native Texan. I'm not clueless about Alaska. I've been there. I was in the Military and have been to a lot of places. I have family in Juneau. The scenery is awesome. That's a fact. You can keep your 60s and 70s. My favorite temperature is 80 and above. I love heat and hate cold. If it was 100 degrees every day, it wouldn't bother me. When I go to the beach, I want 80s, 90s, and even 100s. I like to surf and love warm water and beaches. I love how you're lecturing me on a place I've been to. Still, I'm taking the high road. Everyone I've talked to from Alaska has been pretty cool, EXCEPT for you. You had absolutely no reason to attack me and call me names.

Also, it doesn't matter if I've been there 40 years or 4. I know the weather. I don't like it. You love it. Good for you. I don't. End of story.
